This thread summarizes the state of PrimeDAO at the end of December 2024.
Summary of H2 2024 developments
Despite active engagement and interest from AribtrumDAO, the follow-up proposal for PrimeDAO to co-lead an Arbitrum Token Swap Pilot did not gain enough traction to move forward. No clear path toward approval exists currently.
The GYD <> D2D pool has become the primary source of D2D liquidity and is earning Gyroscope STIP points, which will convert to GYFI on January 31st. After January 31st, it’s unclear if D2D pools will continue to earn SPIN / GYFI.
SupremeDAO’s launch of the ETH → D2D yield product was a failure. Only a tiny amount of ETH was deposited, and SupremeDAO failed to gather sufficient resources to proceed. Their website is now offline. At this stage, it’s unlikely that SupremeDAO will generate any value for PrimeDAO and D2D holders.
Regenerative, a Celo-native DEX, is scheduled to launch in Q1 2025, around the launch of CEL2. D2D holders are anticipated to gain a share in Regenerative.
After three years of operations, the Prime Development Foundation, a Caribbean non-profit foundation founded to support PrimeDAO in its early stages, has depleted its final resources. With no active development, continuing to operate the Foundation at a loss while providing limited upside to D2D holders may not be reasonable.
Total Assets under Control of PrimeDAO
~ $152,500 worth of non-D2D tokens, from which ~$23,000 in USD stablecoins and $50,000 in SAFE fully vesting in the summer of 2026.
~ 49.8M D2D tokens (57% of total supply).
Out of the 100,000,000 max supply of D2D, ±12,550,000 has been burned, leaving a max supply of ±87,450,000 D2D.

Outlook for 2025
Besides completing the Superchain Token Swap report later this month, no active PrimeDAO development is currently planned. PrimeDAO can claim its share of GYFI on January 31st, 2025 - which may be subject to a vest.
In addition to the assets under PrimeDAO control - there is still the opportunity for Regenerative and/or Inverter to return some value to PrimeDAO if they tokenize and decide to pay tribute to PrimeDAO for the early support granted.
